The guidelines for submission are:

 

1.  The book must be fiction and must fit into one of these three categories:

             Picture book (for K to Grade 3)

             Chapter book/ Early novel (for Grades 2 to 4)

             Novel (for Grades 4 to 7)

2.   At least one of the book's creators (author or illustrator) must have lived in B.C. for three of the last five years.

If your book(s) is/are eligible, please fill in and print out the form below for each book you are submitting. The submission fee is $30 per book to a maximum of $200, payable by cheque (made payable to the Chocolate Lily Award) or etransfer to chocolatelilybookaward@gmail.com . Send 6 copies of each book you are submitting to:

Submissions are open in September 2023 and the deadline is January 31, 2024.
